Nice points, however, I’m not so sure Klout is telling anyone to not do any of the things you just listed (i.e. build relationships, offer value first, listen for paint points and solve them, etc.)nnKlout is simply trying to find a way to measure influence among social media, which is an ambitious undertaking to say the least. Klout isn’t telling anyone, or any agency, to stop doing things which will help them become better at their profession. What Klout is aiming for is something different.
